And while all those luxuries are a part of the celebrity life, there are aa few stars who refuse to party a little too hard. Certain Black stars in Hollywood have completely sworn off drinking. 1. 50 Cent

Rapper, TV mogul and internet bully 50 Cent is someone who does not partake in alcohol. In 2011 he told Piers Morgan that even though he sold drugs as growing up, actually consuming drugs and alcohol didn’t appeal to him.

2. Samuel L. Jackson

The A-list actor struggled with substance abuse in the 70s and 80s before going completely sober. He said that not drinking actually enabled him to be a better actor.

Super producer Pharrell told Paper Magazine in 2004, “Everybody else can do what they want, but that stuff isn’t for me.”

The lauded lyricist and Oscar winner also doesn’t drink. He has been sober for a long time.

5. Kendrick Lamar

Lamar told GQ in 2013 that he didn’t drink alcohol or do nay drugs. Growing up in a household where there was heavy drug use made him stray away from the lifestyle.

6. Leona Lewis

R&B crooner Leona Lewis told Glamour,“I don’t drink—I hate the taste of alcohol. When my debut single [Bleeding Love] went to No.1, I celebrated with non-alcoholic champagne.”

7. Naomi Campbell

In an interview with Life & Style iin 2013, legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell said, “I gave up drinking alcohol,” adding, “Not drinking makes me a lot happier.”

8. Jada Pinkett-Smith

Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith told Us Weekly that she hasn’t consumed alcohol since the 90s. Wow.

9. Jennifer Hudson

J-Hud told Chelsea Handler she’s never taken a sip of a drink of alcohol, ever. “I’ve never had a drink in my life. I’ve never been interested. Nobody ever believes it.”

10. Tyra Banks

The key to super model Tyra Banks’ gorgeous figure may be sobriety. “I feel like I’ve been very lucky because I don’t really have an addictive personality,” she told Forbes. “I’ve never had any drugs, and I had a little taste of alcohol when I was 12 years old, but that’s about it.”

Tyler The Creator’s may be a creative genius, but he doesn’t need to get high or drunk to get there. “Not to drugs, I never spark it.” he explained.
