“I’ve always admired Wendy’s strength, and when I saw her ask for help, it was impossible to ignore,” Pierce said in a statement to Page Six via his representative. “My offer is simple: a place where she can find peace, receive the care she deserves, and begin her journey to healing.” He emphasized that Williams, 60, is a “national treasure” who deserves the same kindness and support she has given to so many.

This comes after Williams reportedly threw a handwritten note out of the window of her New York assisted living facility, pleading for help. Authorities transported her to Lenox Hill Hospital, where it was determined that her mental capacity remained intact despite her previous diagnoses of aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. Williams has been staying in the facility’s memory care unit while battling a court-ordered guardianship.

A press release further detailed Pierce’s offer, explaining that he hopes to provide Williams with a secure and private environment where she can focus on her recovery away from public scrutiny. “Brock’s goal is to help Wendy regain her freedom and health,” the statement read, noting that the mansion would give her a safe space with medical professionals attending to her needs.

It remains unclear which of Pierce’s many properties he is offering. The 44-year-old entrepreneur reportedly owns estates in Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, New York City, and Washington, D.C., in addition to a historic Portuguese ocean liner. In 2021, he completed a $500,000 renovation on a Beltway loft previously owned by NBA star Dwight Howard and has also been involved in converting properties like a former East Village church and a 17th-century monastery-turned-hotel in Puerto Rico.

Williams has previously compared her guardianship to a “prison,” though the attorney for her court-appointed guardian has pushed back against media reports, calling them “untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.”
