A review of the flight records shows Trump’s name listed seven times, starting with an entry on Oct. 11, 1993. He was also named twice in a May 15, 1994, log, which included his then-wife, Marla Maples, their daughter Tiffany Trump, and a nanny. On each of those dates, the initials “JE”—presumed to stand for Jeffrey Epstein—were recorded as a fellow passenger. Additionally, a person identified as “GM,” possibly Ghislaine Maxwell, was listed on the 1993 flight.
The release of these records is part of an ongoing effort to provide transparency regarding Epstein’s extensive network. Attorney General Pam Bondi, speaking on Fox News the day before the documents became public, hinted at the scale of the information set to be disclosed. “What you’re going to see … is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information,” Bondi said, adding that Epstein had over 250 alleged victims.

Included in this first batch of files are flight logs, an evidence list, and redacted pages from both a contact book and a masseuse list. Much of the material had previously surfaced in court proceedings or other disclosures. Bondi emphasized that this was only the beginning, stating, “The first phase of files released today sheds light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long overdue accountability.”
However, Bondi also raised concerns about missing documents. She revealed in a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel that she initially received around 200 pages, mostly flight logs and contact lists, but later discovered that the FBI’s New York Field Office possessed “thousands of pages” related to the Epstein investigation. She has since demanded the release of all remaining records by the morning of Feb. 28.

It’s important to note that being named in Epstein’s flight logs does not imply criminal activity. Many individuals listed were likely passengers for business, political, or social reasons. Trump, who once described Epstein as a “terrific guy” before distancing himself, is one of several high-profile figures connected to the late financier, alongside names like Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton.
Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges. His connections to powerful individuals continue to fuel speculation, as investigators work to uncover the full extent of his operations.
