During an interview with Tamron Hall, Shyne clarified that he never saw Diddy fire the gun and didn’t want to falsely implicate anyone. “I didn’t see him fire the gun and I’m not going to lie,” he said. “I don’t believe in getting my friends in trouble, but at this point, I’m not going to make up anything to sensationalize my narrative.”

He went on to explain that Diddy’s immense cultural influence overshadowed the pain he and his family experienced. “The power of Diddy the entertainer… was so loud for so long that no one heard myself and my mom and my supporters when we were crying about our lives being destroyed and devastated by Diddy.”

Shyne also responded to recent allegations, including claims of disturbing behavior from Diddy toward Cassie Ventura. He insisted he had no involvement in those incidents, saying, “I had nothing to do with Sean Combs’ life, other than what he did to me, which is what I said; he destroyed my life.”

When asked about rumors of Diddy paying him $10 million following his prison sentence, Shyne denied the claim, stating, “People say Diddy gave me millions to go to jail… he gave me nothing.” Shyne revealed that Diddy made only “two offensive contributions” over the years, which contributed to the end of their relationship. Reflecting on his feelings toward Diddy, he said, “At one point I thought he was the devil. But because of the power of Diddy… nobody listened, so I moved on.”

Despite the bitterness, Shyne acknowledged the possibility that some of the recent allegations against Diddy might be credible. “I know what he did to my family,” he said. “So the potential is there. He was just such a master of PR that people never hear the victims.”
