Mowry and Hardrict, who were married from 2008 to 2023, share two children—13-year-old son Cree and 6-year-old daughter Cairo. While some fans were surprised by her admission, especially about being inexperienced in dating before marriage, Mowry’s focus now is on co-parenting and personal growth.

Interestingly, Tia’s twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley, had a similar experience, remaining a virgin until she was 29. She later made the decision to become celibate with her then-boyfriend, Adam Housley, before their marriage in 2011. On a 2016 episode of The Real, Tamera shared how she struggled to forgive herself for losing her virginity before marriage, due to her religious upbringing, saying, “Sometimes when you do something that you know maybe you shouldn’t have done, it’s hard to move on.”
