In a sneak peek of her upcoming WE TV series, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, Tia Mowry gets candid about navigating life after her divorce from Cory Hardrict and her relationship with her twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley. The 46-year-old actress reflects on her personal journey, revealing that for the first time in her life, she is truly alone. “I came into this world with a twin and right after that, I went into a 22-year relationship, so I have never been alone in my life. It has been quite a journey,” she says in the teaser.

Tia, who was married to Hardrict for 14 years before their split in 2022, admits that being alone has been the most challenging aspect of her divorce. “Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce,” she explains. The two share two children, Cree, 13, and Cairo, 6, and finalized their divorce in April 2023, six months after announcing their separation.

One of the more emotional moments in the teaser comes when Tia talks about the distance between her and Tamera. She notes, “It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close, and I could pick up the phone and call her. But that’s just not where we are right now.” This admission left many fans surprised, as Tamera had publicly praised Tia for how she handled the divorce, saying in a 2022 Entertainment Tonight interview that “she is living her authentic, true self.”

Tia also reflects on the public perception of her life, noting that she became “tired of people thinking everything was perfect when it wasn’t.” She shares, “I think I lost me. I have this beautiful house, I have amazing kids, but the one thing I don’t have is love.” In another powerful moment from the teaser, Tia emphasizes the struggle of starting over after divorce, saying, “Divorce is about starting over, and you have to learn how to live again.”
