AJ & Free Reunite On Last Episode Of “106 & Park”

Tonight is the last hurrah for BET’s top 10 countdown “106 & Park,” before the show moves to a digital platform, and producers are pulling out all of the stops to make it special. According to reports, 106’s original (and most beloved) hosts AJ and Free will host tonight’s final show.

“It will be very exciting to connect with the millions of people that are already engaged with ‘106 & Park’ and other BET digital and social media entities,” Stephen Hill, BET’s president of music programming, said in a statement. “As we transition to the digital space, we look to continue ‘106 & Park’s’ role as both a leader of and a mirror to youth culture.”

“106 & Park” debuted 14 years ago and grew to be BET’s biggest show and rivaled mainstream telecasts like MTV’s “TRL.” Entertainers like Beyonce, Jay Z and ever the First Lady Michelle Obama have been interview on 106’s famous couches.

They gave it a long run.

Nicki Minaj’s Ex Is Suicidal Over Breakup?

Nicki Minaj recently broke down over her breakup with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels and new reports suggest he is having a hard time dealing with it as well. According to TMZ, Safaree is having suicidal thoughts. Apparently Safaree has secluded himself and has been binging on weed and openly talked about suicide.

Sources claim Safaree hasn’t reached out to Nicki because she’s now dating Meek Mill (allegedly). He allegedly feels like Meek destroyed their relationship after rumors cirulated that he cheated on the Barb.

Recently, before deleting his Twitter (it’s back now), Safaree wrote “Cheating was never the issue. ppl grow apart and it is what it is.. and thats all ill say about that.. a lot can happen and change in 12 yrs.”

Bobby Shmurda Bail Set At $2 Million

Earlier this week, Brooklyn rapper Bobby Smurda was arrested for conspiracy, reckless endangerment and gun possession after a long investigation by the NYPD and a special narcotics prosecutor. Police found two handguns and a small amount of crack cocaine in a car in which he was riding, reports Yahoo news.

Bobby’s attorney, Howard Greenberg, failed in his attempt to convince a Supreme Court judge that Bobby had been framed and wouldn’t skip town if he was released. The judge slapped Bobby, who plead “not guilty” to the charges, on a $2 million bail.

Bobby and his crew GS9 (who were also arrested) are allegedly responsible for 24 shootings. Police seized 21 guns during the investigation.

While we don’t condone Bobby and his crew’s behavior, it’s a sad situation all around.

Yandy & Lil Mendeecees Hit Their Nae Nae

Seriously. Yandy Smith is like our idol. She is so amazing and we love watching her interact with her husband Mendeecees’ child from another relationship.

Yandy, who’s carrying another bundle of big Mendeecees joy, turned up with junior as they prepared for a busy press week pushing “Love & Hip Hop” season 5.

“#Happymonday Lil Mendeecees and I turning up for press week. #LVHH Season5 #Tonight,” she wrote.

Mariah Carey Sued By Former Employee

Divorce isn’t the only thing Mariah Carey should be worried about, according to new reports Mimi is being sued by a former employee, Ysler Oliver, who claims she was overworked and underpaid. Tell us about it.

Oliver began working as Mariah’s assistant in 2007 and quit in June 2014. According to Oliver, she would work 16-hour days doing errands and tasks assistants typically do.

“My client put her family’s life on hold while tending to Mariah Carey’s family, and Mariah repaid her by underpaying her,” Oliver’s attorney Matthew Bilt said. “My client is a very hardworking woman who treated Mariah and her family like her own, working all hours of the day and night. Even celebrities are required to abide by the law.”

Oliver claims she wasn’t paid the legal time and a half for all of her overtime hours. However, Mariah’s spokesperson, Cindi barker, doesn’t seem to know about the suit.

“I can’t comment on anything that I’m not aware of and we haven’t heard anything about this lawsuit,” she said.
