“Her pain is my pain,” Ray Rice said in a press conference earlier this summer once photos of Rice dragging his then fiancee, Janay Palmer on the floor at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Now, TMZ got their hands on a cleaned up, raw surveillance elevator video of the incident and cleaned it up and it shows everything leading up to Rice’s dragging of Palmer and it involves a very graphic and brutal assault. In the video, Rice is seen hitting Palmer first, she hits him back and then he delivers the blow that knocked her out cold. He doesn’t even look like it matters to him when he drags her out of the elevator when it opens. What’s worse–Palmer still married Rice a month after the attack.
Rice was slapped on the wrist for this incident. As far as the NFL is concerned, all will be forgiven after he sits out two games and pays a fine. He was still arrested, indicted and faced discipline, but it all seems to have been swept under the rug, until now.
Ray told reporters that “when the time is right” both he and his wife plan to seek out opportunities to help people affected by domestic violence because it is simply “inexcusable.” He didn’t indicate when that time might be, but he insisted that he knows there is no excuse for hitting your partner. “It just not right. It’s not right. It shouldn’t be tolerated,” said Ray. “That’s something I stand by, and I have to pay for that.” He continued, pleading,”You know that’s not me.”
Right, so this video displaying you beat your wife to an unconscious pulp isn’t you? Got it. The NFL still hasn’t made any comment and we doubt they will. They’re just going to wait until we all forget about this and put him right back in the game, because as we all know, it pays to be an athlete, in so many ways. And Mrs. Rice? Our only hope for her is that she smartens up and gets out of that marriage before it’s too late.

Breezy is on the cover of the latest Billboard Magazine and he admitted that he’s maturing. Maybe that’s why he and Karrueche seem to be on the up and up? He says the jail time really helped him grow up, “My maturity level has risen as far as my realizing what’s important. Realizing that I’m human like everyone else. At the end of the day, it’s just a humbling experience.” He continued, “There was a purpose. Maybe I was out of control too much.”
Yes, Chris, maybe you were. He continued to open up in the Billboard article about understanding the responsibility of being in the public eye, but we don’t think he does:
“I realize that what I do for a living opens my life to public scrutiny and that I have a responsibility to everyone because of that exposure. I can say that I am only human and I have made mistakes. I can say that I try to live my life in the most true, honest way that I can. I am not perfect, no one is. No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”
